DECATHLON's cycling brand offers handy tips to help with your cycling practice.

You should choose your maintenance product based on what you are looking for in terms of bike cleaning.

CLEANING STAGES

To look after your bike properly, there are several stages to consider.
1/ DEGREASING

Degreasers get rid of grease, mud and dirt from your drivetrain (to be done at least once per month).

2/ CLEANING

Cleaning finishes off the degreasing and gives everything a shine (to be done at least once per month).

3/ LUBRICATING

Lubricant increases the lifespan of your drivetrain by reducing friction (to be done every two weeks).

Grease should only be used on screw threads and bearings to protect them from corrosion.

B’TWIN has created the ALL IN ONE which, as the name suggests, will degrease, clean, lubricate, remove moisture and protect your bike with just one product
